The Spinster’s Guide to Scandalous Behavior: The Seduction Diaries by Jennifer McQuiston
I really enjoyed this book. I love Lucy and Thomas. I enjoyed the story line which involves not only “saving” characters, but also “saving” an entire town.
Lucy is an independent, smart, interesting woman. She wants to check out the property left to her, so she does. She respects and loves her family, however, she knows what she needs to do for herself. Thomas is a bit of a lost soul. He has worked hard to face his demons, but he’s always on the edge. He realizes that he was a better person because of Lucy’s aunt, and now he’s a better person because of Lucy. He respects Lucy’s independent streak and her intelligence. He trusts that intelligence enough to know that he can wait until she trusts him.
The dialogue and side characters are amusing. There are some surprises that I didn’t see coming at all.
Epilogue Whore Alert: There is a lovely epilogue. Loved it!!
